  1. ***DF_SUITEfc is a set of Disk<->File Transfer/Backup Utilities by W. Alan B.
  2. Evans.  SECTMAN will allow you to tranfer a specified number of 512 byte
  3. sectors from disk (drives a-p) to memory (you must have enough RAM to
  4. contain the specified number of sectors) to disk again.  It will only
  5. work with 512 byte sectors which means that only 16 Meg (TOS 1.0-1.2) or
  6. 32 Meg (all other TOS) partitions or floppies are supported.  This is
  7. excellent for making multiple copies of one disk.  HDQBUR is the
  8. Hard-Disk Quick Back-up and Restore utility.  Operating on a similar
  9. principle to SECTMAN, this utility will quickly backup your hard drive
  10. onto big files on floppies.  It will take 1620 contiguous 512 byte
  11. sectors and copy them as 810K files on a 820K floppy.  The files can be
  12. easily restored, too.  Typically a 10 Meg Partition takes about 12 mins
  13. to back and about the same time to restore and 13 disks are required.
  14. DFT is a utility that will allow you to move Files, whole disks, or
  15. files to disks in the same way as SECTMAN, but without the requirement
  16. that you have sufficient RAM to hold the entire disk in RAM.  Docs
  17. included.  This works!
